LISTING FOR 2013

February 23, Exeter City
Members will be supporting this City Council event where we will be portraying the armed forces of King George the Third.

April 14, Pecorama, Beer
Very pleased to visit this worldwide center for hobbies where we will be saluting our Devonshire hero Sir Edward Pellew, and remembering that smuggler from Beer Jack Rattenbury.

May 4-5, Brixham Quay
For our second year we are looking forward to promoting the exploits of Sir Edward Pellew at this exciting and colourful pirate festival.

May  25, Gloucester Docks
Members will be attending this Tall Ships event. Note, this is a society social, we are not staging displays.

June 29, Torquay Museum
Captain Pellew's crew will be supporting this museum in their colourful themed display on piracy, fact and fiction.

July 27, Honiton Charter Day
Once more our society has been requested to furnish a detachment. This year members will remember John Graves Simcoe and will be uniformed as Queen's Rangers and also the 35th Regiment of Foot.

August 12-12, Dartmouth Castle
SKG3 will be once more recreating a Georgian garrison for this wonderful location.

August 17-18, Tyntesfield House
Honoured to be invited by this National Trust site to bring the American Revolutionary War to life at what really is a special location.

August 31, Woolwich, London
Pellew's Landing Party have been asked to send a detachment.

September 22, SKG3 Annual Social, when we will salute our former sovereign, Farmer George.

November 30-December 1, Exeter Quay
SKG3 has been commissioned to recreate a Royal Navy Dockyard in the age of the Georgians.

EVENTS LIST FOR 2012

BRIXHAM PIRATE WEEKEND, May 5-6
Some of those involved with this popular event thought it would enhance the occasion if a contingent of Royal Navy and British Marines engaged the local pirates. To your stations gentlemen!
PLYMOUTH PIRATE FESTIVAL, May 26-27
For the second year, SKG3 is dispatching Pellew's Landing Party c1790 to support this fun occasion.
SHIPTON BELLINGER FAYRE, June 9
A detachment of our Queen's Rangers will be attending this Hampshire event. The location is proud of its connections with the British Army.
ARMED FORCES DAY, June 30
SKG3 will be supporting several military charities in Honiton.

HONITON CHARTER DAY, July 28
A detachment of Queen's Rangers and Pellew's Royal Navy will be attending this event in support of the town's ancient charter.

DARTMOUTH CASTLE, August 15-16
For the third year running, English Heritage have requested we provide a Georgian garrison for this splendid location. A detachment of Simcoe's Queen's Rangers and Pellew's Royal Navy will be present to promote interest in two Devonshire heroes.

IPSWICH MARITIME FESTIVAL, August 18-19
For the second year running, Pellew's Royal Navy Landing Party will be staging a display at the Mariner, Ipswich. Great Fun!

TEIGNMOUTH MUSEUM, August 25
For a second year we are honoured to stage a Nautical display at the Teign Center, celebrating their local connections with Sir Edward Pellew.

GLOUCESTER QUAY, September 1-2
A detachment of the Queen's Rangers will be supporting this event, with encampment.

DEVONSHIRE ASSOCIATION LECTURE, September 13
A talk on the life and achievements of John Graves Simcoe
WOODBRIDGE, September 15-16
Pellew's Royal Navy landing party will be present at this nautical event.

HMS BOUNTY IN PLYMOUTH May 21-22
Members of SKG3 will be kitted out as Royal Navy and Marines, others will be serving as a guard of Rangers for the Deputy Mayor.

TEIGNMOUTH MUSEUM May 28
Members will be honouring our Devonshire hero Sir Edward Pellew. His connection with this town makes our attendance particularly appropriate.

VYNE HOUSE, National Trust, JUNE 11
Honoured to be asked to provide an 18th century military encampment at a very attractive location.

FESTIVAL OF HISTORY, English Heritage, July 16-17
For our third year, the Queen's Rangers will be joining with the ALLIANCE to stage a weekend of American Revolutionary War skirmishes for the general public.

HONITON CHARTER DAY, July 23
With Honiton's connections with John Graves Simcoe, and so many SKG3 members in the town we are pleased to be asked to stage a display in support of the town charter day.

DARTMOUTH CASTLE, August 8-9
The success of last years Georgian garrison display with the visitors has ensured another occupation of the castle by SKG3.

IPSWICH MARITIME FESTIVAL, August 20-21
SKG3 has been requested to furnish a late 18th century Royal Navy landing party as part of the city's maritime festivities. Other ALLIANCE groups will also be attending.

SALISBURY MUSEUM, August 28
To celebrate the connections between the artist Constable and the city, SKG3 has been commissioned to establish a military encampment and civilian-gentry display.

EVENTS LIST FOR 2010

2010 MAY 3rd WOODMANCOTE FAYRE, nr Cheltenham, Gloucester
The Society will present an 18th century living history display and honour guard in support of Woodmancote fayre. (Monday)

2010 MAY 30-31 DARTMOUTH CASTLE, Devon
18th Century living history display. (Sunday/Monday) Members of SKG3 will be forming a garrison for this superb English Heritage site. The display will include the officer's table, the sutler's store, and drill displays, as the Queen's Rangers prepare to embark for the new colony of Upper Canada!

2010 JUNE 25-26-27 EXETER HERITAGE WEEKEND, Northenhay, Exeter
18th century living history display in memory of John Graves Simcoe. This event(Friday to Sunday) is in recognition of Exeter's history and connections with the armed forces.

2010 JULY 3-4 AMERICAN MUSEUM, Bath
The Society will be joining the Crown Forces 1776, the 47th and 22nd Regiments to perform drill displays at the museum's Independence Day celebrations. This is a Saturday-Sunday event.

2010 JULY 17-18 FESTIVAL OF HISTORY, Northampton
The Society will be joining with other American War of Independence groups to stage several battle reenactments for the English Heritage event at Kelmarsh. (Saturday-Sunday)

2010 AUGUST 14-15 BICTON PARK, East Devon
Our Society has been commissioned to stage a Georgian living history display at Bicton Park. This is a very attractive and appropiate site for such an event, and we will be establishing a period-correct encampment in the Italian Gardens. Expect interesting displays on civilian and military life in the 18th century. This is a Saturday-Sunday event.
